I think my husband may be ignoring me now...

Because I emailed him this...

"theres no words for this...
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Effigy-Human-type-head-pottery-Very-Unusual-/230750646394?pt=Art_Sculpture&hash=item35b9cf707a
His mouth would make wonderful storage for buttons or cigarette buts. We should totally get this for all the smokers who visit us. It would look great out on the patio and show them we care and want them to have a wonderful experience at our home. "

Again I should not be allowed on the Internet. Its almost as bad as me going into old thrift stores and dollar stores except on the Internet I rarely spend any money. I have a problem. I also found a rabbit head with antlers called a Jackalope. It would be perfect in my dining room but its alot of money and I already know that Nick will tell me no when he decides its safe to talk to me again. My birthday is in April if anyone needs a gift idea...

7 yr old wants to be older. I Will help the world with lack of sleeping....maybe.

My sweet baby girl is trying to grow up. Miss. V just tried to sneak to school wearing lipstick. She didn't think I would notice the bright red.

I can't believe its already starting >.<

Not looking forward to the teen years.

I need more coffee -_-

I think I have some sort of sleep disorder(I could be wrong, I don't know anything about those) because yet again I sat awake ALL night(this has been happening almost every night for about a year...maybe longer....time is a blur to me now). I'll go harass my doctor....once I've had more coffee that is.  I could find a midnight hobby so then I wont be bored while everyone is blissfully sleeping.  Maybe I'll write a book. I could help the world with a book. OR I could write a song. I can't sing though so I probably wont do that. Unless Britney Spears wants to sing it for me but I doubt ill be able to get a hold of her to ask. She would probably run away screaming at the sight of me approaching with my disastrous hair, smudged eye makeup and superman pyjamas. Is she on twitter? I could always join that site too but I'm really lazy and don't really post on my facebook so it wouldn't be responsible for me to join yet another site that I can't keep up with.

Oh and Ben there will be a comic soonish, I swear. It has been lowered on my unorganised priority list because Nick wants to go through everything in our house so it can get organised and less cluttered. We will be doing this for probably a long time. If I disappear from the blog for more than a couple days send a search party as I'm probably lost in my basement.

I really shouldnt window shop on the internet

because I find too much stuff that I want to buy but I have bills to pay so I can't.

I may start selling lemonade on my front yard so I can raise monies for this.

Turns out theres a collection of zombie teddies!   Maybe I can buy them all for Nick for our anniversary. Six years should be something super amazing and zombie teddies is just the right anniversary gift.

He's sooo excited

....about poking his eye. Cutie!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uW-bIn9iuvA&feature=g-logo&context=G2eb18b1FOAAAAAAAEAA

Wow we seriously forgot how to spell "excited". That's enough wine for us tonight!   And now excited is too drastic according to nick.

oh and the spell check didn't know how to spell excited either. I'm not the only stupid one.

My hopes and dreams are shattered

Nick is not a zombie. I'm a bit sad. Id be famous for having a zombie husband but he just shattered all my hopes and dreams.  We would have looked great on magazines.

He cleaned the kitchen at 6am for me, fed the girls peanutbutter and jam bun sandwiches because we are out of bread and fed ryker a bottle while holding his breath because he doesn't want rye to get sick as Rye has no immune system and finally recovered from a nasty cold and we don't want to see what would happen if he got the flu.

That was a pretty amazing run on sentence.   That takes mad skill ya'll.

The point of that run on sentence though is that my husband is not a zombie...maybe...he did hold his breath to feed Rye which only someone who doesn't need to breath can do.  Like a ZOMBIE.  I'm I confusing anyone yet?

Big Me and Little Me!

Ok so remember I said on my post about health and fitness that I would do before and after pics so ya'll can see my weightloss success so far? Well here they are.

                                          Dec2007 with Miss.V and Miss.S

This is my size now one baby later from the above pic. I'm not as skinny as I used to be but im healthy and proud of myself. I worked hard for a very long time to lose the weight that I had put on with my second pregnancy then had to lose 3rd pregnancy weight. It didn't just go away on its own and I'm hoping my success will encourage others to eat healthy foods and be active.
Not the most flattering picture, I was worried for the wellbeing of my camera as I was letting Miss.V take the picture. And YES I have a KISS poster in my kitchen lol

Friday 24 February 2012

wtf... Nick is really sick???

So it turns out my husband isn't a god or robot.

He NEVER gets sick. The occasional sniffle and injury is all he gets. Now I'm freaking because he's actually really sick. Seriously Nick your not supposed to get sick. Ever. Seeing you laying in bed all fevered and helpless is breaking my heart and makes me worry. I'm kinda disappointed though because I was thinking he was maybe a indestructible robot or something super cool and bad ass like that. Turns out he's human with a usually awesome immune system that no longer likes him. I know he's f***ing lucky right? Ok if his immune system no longer works then he's not that lucky but luckier than me so he still wins.

I get sick all the time even though I live a healthy life( clean, eat healthy and exercise). Probably from being a stay at home parent and having kids get their germs all over me. I should stick them in a bubble for my own protection. Or hire a nanny to deal with their germs and when they have been scrubbed clean I will play with them and teach them stuff like how to pull pranks on grandparents and Beatles lyrics.

So back to Nick, If The walking dead show is correct about the symptoms of someone turning into a zombie then I'm fucked because Nick is all fevered, headache, neck and back pain, chills and his belly isn't feeling great either. How am I supposed to sleep with a could be zombie? Would that be considered cheating? I know its him but not really him if he's zombie Nick right? Would it be ok if I remarry him? I still have my wedding dress and I've lost enough pregnancy weight that I can get into it again even though its a bit tight. I don't think zombie Nick will care too much. Chances are he has the flu and I'm f***ed because I'll probably get it too even though I'm trying to avoid him and gargling mouthwash and drinking wine because i read articles that say wine and other booze prevents illness. All should be well soon though unless I turn into a super hot zombie bride. Can't complain too much there because I wont be chased by zombies and I wont have to worry about if its cheating if he's a zombie.  Like really who doesn't want to be a super hot zombie bride? I could build an army of zombies and be royalty and bake brain pies for all my adorable zombie babies. I'd make a wonderful caring zombie bride mother....with nice hair. Problem solved. Your welcome everyone. Yet again I have fixed all the problems that I have created in my own awe inspiring head.

Cloth wipes. Another non entertaining informative post.

So I mentioned cloth wipes in my cloth diapering post a while back but thought I could chat more about cloth wipes and how easy they are to make. Since my sciatia pain is currently severe I am unable to do much so I decided today that I would catch up on some sewing and make Miss.V a belt and some more wipes for Rye.  Wipes are VERY easy to make. I use whatever material I have on hand. Typically flannel or fleece. You can also cut up old towels and use those and they work great. The only reason why I don't have too many of those is because Ryes skin is sensitive and the material is a bit rough for him.  You can make the wipes any size you want. I never bother measuring because im usually using scraps of material and make whatever size can be managed. Some are small while others are much larger.

So to start take whatever material you have and cut into squares. Whatever size you like. I usually stick to 5-7inches but again not always possible when using scrap material.

So I make the wipes with 2 layers of flannel. Put the together with printed sides facing out. Just like in the picture.

Next I use the zigzag setting on my sewing machine and go around twice. I want to make sure they don't fall apart in the wash. After you do that cut close to the edge.

And viola! You have reusable wipes!  You don't need to use soap. Just wet with warm water and use.

These are easy to wash. If you cloth diaper then just put them in the washer with the diapers. If you don't cloth diaper you can wash these in the laundry sink by hand and will only take a moment to do. Just wash in very warm water and a little detergent and then rinse well. Squeeze out extra water and you can hang them up to dry or put them in the dryer.

These wipes are adorable and cost me very little or nothing to make and they are not uncomfortable for my baby.

If anyone is interested in reusable wipes but does not sew feel free to leave a comment and we can see if we can work something out :)

A post about absolutly nothing and everything ...

..Because I'm just that amazing. Muahahahaha!

So I finally got to the chiropractor this evening. Definatly did a number on myself....again. For all of you who don't know, when I was pregnant with Rye I took a fall on the staires. I ended up f***ing up my back and pinching my sciatic nerve. http://www.medicinenet.com/sciatica/article.htm <--This explains it because im to lazy to. Once I started putting on 3rd trimester pregnancy weight I stuggled to walk. My leg would go numb which caused me to fall a few times. Other times my leg tingled like it was falling asleep. I suffered from severe pain through my lower back and hip untill I started recieving treatment at my chiropractor. I seriously reccommend seeing one because they can help fix the problem, not cover it up with painkillers that leave you stoned and useless.

To this day I still have to put up with it and its hard to say if this is temporary or not. Usually its just an occasional pain that passes quickly or easily dealt with Advil, but the past 2 days its been severe. Walking has been a challenge for me.

So now that the kids and Nick are sleeping I'm bored and can't really do anything useful. Now I spend my precious time writing posts(which i need to catch up on anyways) and looking up horrible things on urban dictionary (don't go to that site mom because you may have a heart attack if you do). And no I do not have cable to entertain myself with. I can't afford to sit around watching stupid shows and my focus is horrible so Id get bored 5 minutes into a show anyways. Id rather use my brain even if I'm using it for stupid things because its better then not using it at all. See I'm even smart when I'm being stupid. Not many people have that kind of talent.

So now I will share what I'm watching on youtube for the simple fact that when I created this blog I didn't click the option of it being adult content so I have to share things that are somewhat appropriate like people being chased by llamas and some of my favourite music. If your bored then check this shit out.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGinm6KIC4Q&list=FL9UyHI5ADFWoN0fdZv2SL4g&index=52&feature=plpp_video  - guy gets chased by a super adorable llama.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3iFhLdWjqc&list=FL9UyHI5ADFWoN0fdZv2SL4g&index=67&feature=plpp_video  - my kids love this. Anything to do with cats they love which is why I should get more cats but nick says no because vet bills are too much.

And my new addiction(don't worry its not drugs)  LITERAL VIDEOS! yay

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dsZ-BMKVbSc&list=FL9UyHI5ADFWoN0fdZv2SL4g&index=128&feature=plpp_video  - love is a battlefeild

You should check out Kerli's other stuff as she has some good tunes.

So I have done my job in either entertaining you all or boring you to death. Either way I'm happy to help. If you haven't already please go to facebook and LIKE Save Bethesda. You suck if you don't.  The link is on yesterday's post if you have trouble finding it.

Also let me know what you think about the new layout. Either in the comment section or through email. Doesn't matter to me, just want a little feedback.

Save Bethesda because it is awesome!

On a more serious note, we need to support keeping the Bethesda home open for young mothers. Go here and f***ing LIKE it.
http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Save-Bethesda/252651091480734

This home is very dear to my heart. I was 16 when I had Miss.V. This place took me in while I was pregnant and I immediatly became good friends with other young woman who were pregnant or mothers. At Bethesda they do not judge young woman and offer a supportive caring home . They taught me all the things I needed to know about caring for a baby and even prepare the girls for living on their own by teaching them about meal planning and prep, managing money and girls are able to continue their education while their babies are in an onsite daycare. Unforunatly the home is struggleing and its now a fight to keep this amazing resource for teen parents. Please show your support. These woman and babies deserve a good start just like any other family.

Here is Miss.V and I playing in our apartment at the Bethesda home.

We may have been teen parents but we love and adore and took responsibility just like any other loving parent. Our age didn't decide what kind of parents we would be, we did.

Painkillers make me dopey so I shall share videos that amuse me

By the fact that my last post wasn't even close to entertaining(but im hoping it was encouraging and helpful). Now that I'm doped up on painkillers I decided to share some youtube shit because im bored and should probably not do anything useful because I might hurt my hip even more. And now thanks to my friend posting a confusing muffin conversation on her blog I wish I had carrot muffins and I doubt Nick will pick any up on his way home from work since I already convinced him that the world will end if he doesn't take me to the library this evening to find more corny romance novels.

Alright Video #1. My mom made me go on a hunt for this terrible workout video from the time in our history when people had bad hair and even worse clothing. The shinyness is blinding me!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cA_6wUpaejw&list=FL9UyHI5ADFWoN0fdZv2SL4g&feature=mh_lolz

The next one is kinda old but I remembered it last night and thought Id share for all of you who are not easily offended by cartoon violence(I'm not talking bugsbunny here either). Not a video for kids. I'm not joking. Totally inappropiate video so please don't let your children watch. You should probably skip this link mom.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WgT9gy4zQA

Wanna know my secret to cheering up my children when they are mad at me for being a parent and enforcing rules or saving them from themselves? They love the bootyshaking gummybear and quickly forgive me.

The time the time who's got the time!?

Obviously not me. Wanna know the reason why yet again I havent been posting? Remember that cold that poor Rye has been fighting off  and was the reason why i hadnt been posting before? Well it went from improving to horrible suddenly. Poor kid has an ear infection. He's almost done his antibiotics and feeling much better :)

So since I last posted and promised a follow up post that I never got around to I have tried convincing my hubby to let me rename our dog, Maggie, to Lady Rottingham because shes fat and smells, made several attempts to reorganize my house and did manage to get more done then expected and yesturday morning while exercising I aggrevated my sciatic nerve yet again and currently in lots of pain so all the other stuff I had hoped to accomplish will have to be put on hold. At least sitting here writing a post is doable.

So I promised a follow up picture of my diaper stash. So here ya go!

I use a pail with a lid that latches as shown above for dirty diapers. It contains the smell plus prevents children getting into it. I keep it up high just incase.

Lets talk about health and fitness!

I believe its very important for moms to gets lots of exercise and to eat healthy. The problem? We don't have time for gyms and so rushed that we end up eating crappy foods that are fast to prepare or we skip meals. I'm guilty of forgeting to eat and doing my best to fix that.  To raise happy and healthy children we need to be happy and healthy ourselves.

Well heres what I do to get my exercise in. First of all I walk to and from the school 3x a day. The walk is 15 minutes each way so that totals 1.5 hour of walking just to and from the school. During spring and fall when the weather is still nice enough for the park I take the kids and that adds on an extra 20-30 minutes of walking not including the running around I gotta do at the park. During the winter in the mornings I do what I call baby arobics. I dance around with the kids and use the baby to get a workout. Maybe I'll post pics sometime to give a better idea when I'm no longer suffering from nerve pain.  Kids are heavy and make great weights. Older children are great for counting and its good for them to practise. I also do yoga and beginners pilates with the kids because those are safe options they can participate in.  The kids have a great time and they remain active which is important to me.
On the days when I don't get a morning workout I do have Jillian Micheals Ripped in 30 and Carmen Electra DVD's that I can do in the evenings.  I also try to attend the Zumba class at Goodlife on Sundays when Nick and the kids are at church.

So as yall can see I take the opportunities that life gives me and use what is free or I can easily afford and do at home or out in nature. I don't need a gym or a babysitter or any fancy equipment although one day Nick and I would like to have a small home gym. For now we don't have the space or money. I'm happy to say that although I havent reached my pre pregnancy size, I have slimmed down lots and feeling great and energetic and healthy and that's what matters most, I do not care to be super skinny, my body will never be 100lb again and the stretch marks are here for life and thats ok. I do not have unrealistic expectations of myself, my only expectation is to be as healthy as possible and to encourage my children to live a healthy lifestyle. Maybe at some point I'll post a before and after picture but for now I must wrap this up.

Happy Valentines Day! ...And diaper talk. Not gross. I promise.

Yay for love day! Hope you are all feeling loved

This morning Miss.S and I made cupcakes for Nick. Rye supervised us to make sure we did the baking correctly. He is very good at that job. Sophia got to lick the chocolate cake mix off the spoon and made a mess of herself. She's such a cutie! Will post pic tomorrow.

Can I chat about cloth diapers? why yes I can!

So I have had many other parents ask me if cloth diapering is easy. Is it actually cheaper? Is it difficult to wash the diapers?  Why did you chose cloth instead of convenient disposables?

After the start up cost it does save money to use cloth. For me I have a close friend who lets me borrow diapers that she is not using and then I give them back once my babe outgrows them. I also have a couple Kushies(50-60$ for a 5 pack) and a couple home made diapers that are made out of 5 layers of flannel that require a plastic cover. I bought the material for 2$ a meter at fabric land when they had a huge sale. I also bought used Flannel bedsheets from thrift stores. Most of those were newborn sizes and are packed away now so I wont be showing a picture. To get better deals on cloth diapers you can search kijiji, make them yourself if you can sew or swap with other parents. Check out parenting forums for other cloth diapering mamas.

Is it difficult to wash cloth diapers? No its not. Simply put them in the washer, add detergent and walk away. I use purex. Beware some detergents are not safe for diapers and NEVER use fabric softener. On occasion you will need to strip the diapers. This needs to be done if the diapers still smell after a washing and or if your baby starts developing a rash. This is caused by detergent build up. Its important not to use too much detergent and I like to do an extra rinse because my last 2 babies have had sensitive bottoms. You can google stripping diapers and figure out what works best for you. We do a load every 2-3 days.

Why did I chose Cloth? Well that's simple. First it has saved me hundreds of dollars, second Miss.S and Rye have both been sensitive to disposables and got awful rashes and third as a family we try to be environmentally friendly whenever possible and this is an easy way to cut down on the amount of garbage. I also use cloth wipes most of the time for the same reason plus I wet them in warm water right before a change so I don't make my baby cold. Also we have to be very careful what wipes we use. Rye has really bad eczema and most wipes irritate his skin. I've had a couple friends complain of consistent rashes and once switched to cloth wipes and just water they stopped having rash issues. Definitely worth trying if diaper rash cream does not work. You can buy the packs of baby wash cloths or make flannel or fleece wipes. I just use really old receiving blankets and cut them out into wipes. I try to use what I have on hand instead of spending money and thankfully after 7 years of being a mom I found plenty of worn down puke stained baby blankets to use.

If anyone wants to cloth diaper but without the extra work you can see if your local area has a diaper service. They provide you with a weeks worth of diapers and every week they pick up the dirty ones and give you some clean ones. The one in my area I believe is $20 per week so I'm guessing other diaper services probably have similar prices.

Well This post has taken me all day to write due to being super busy. I had intended to share a picture of chocolate faced Miss.S, Rye's new haircut and show off the adorable diaper stash I currently have but unfortunately that will have to be done with a recipe tomorrow because I haven't folded and put away diapers yet and I'm too tired to do any more work and just want to have a glass of wine and go to sleep. Night Everyone.

Monday 13 February 2012

where was I? ...

Even I don't know. The past couple weeks have been crazy. Poor rye is still battling a cold and not sleeping and between going back and forth from the school, going to playgroup and studying the driver handbook to get my g1(which i got today) I have had nothing interesting or f***ed up to write about. I'm seriously sorry for my severe case of writers block.  But since I'm here and writing I'm going to share my goals this week even though boring its better than nothing.

-Make a belt for Miss.V because she's super skinny and nothing fits her.

-Make aprons for both girls.

-Get out of the house doing something I like for at least one hour(I know probably not going to happen but I should try right?

- Make a diaper or 2 or at least more soakers and cloth wipes because I'm finding that I'm running out after 1 day and end up using disposable wipes which Rye hates because they are cold. He's spoiled:D

I also need to do up our meal plan because I have been slacking and then an hour before supper time I have no idea what I'm cooking because I didn't plan anything. This results in either odd meals or purchasing tacos or subs and that goes against our goal of being more frugal. Subs are tasty and worth it though and Miss.S will eat them. Its the easiest way of getting lots of veggies into her. She's probably like every other kid who doesn't eat nearly enough recommended veggies(or any other food for that matter) because the people who came up with the food guide obviously never had to get a kid to eat or they were feeding the rare kid who actually likes to eat. That's my theory anyways.

In other news, Miss.V got a new book from Chapters that's filled with pictures and stuff about the Harry Potter movies so she is super happy with us. Oh and the only reason we were able to buy the book was because when uncle Jordan was visiting he was stupid and gave Rye his Chapters gift card to play with so he wouldn't cry while we were at a restaurant and never got it back because its evil to take stuff from a baby. Plus Rye can scream super loud so we avoid pissing him off.
I'm still annoyed at over priced products including Grover from sesame st hats and mitts. I seriously want them but can't justify spending that kind of money on myself. I didn't even buy a coffee from Starbucks even though I so badly wanted one.

Saving money takes a lot of effort.

Friday 10 February 2012

What a week *sigh*

Sorry for the lack of posts this week.

The family has been taking turns getting sick. Miss.V started feelin like crap on sunday and stayed home from school for 2 days then  Rye got a cold and still battling it. And of course the girls have projects for school and there was a mistake on the assignment sheet so instead of the projects being due monday they are due today. Gotta love last minute homework. Miss.S and I(mostly me, thanks school for giving my nonfocused hyper 4 year old a project) just finished hers and I took a blow dryer to it to make the glue dry faster. Totally worked and her project is ready to go! I'm smart like that ;)

During our awful week our friend Ben stopped by one evening for a visit. He was talking about work then told us how he walked into work the other day to find this:

Poor Alvin :(

I swear I will have more interesting stuff to post in a bit but Rye is on the move and determined to trash my house with Miss.S and being a responsible parent I must stop them.

Activities for the kids!

A lot of my mommy friends are always trying to figure out what to do with their kids or if they are like me they are not very creative and suck at coming up with crafts. Well I get most of my activities or worksheets from this site.

 www.education.com

There's plenty to do for all age groups and that means you can finally sit down for that cup of coffee you keep reheating but never get a chance to drink or go for a bathroom break....maybe. If you have an infant that wont do anything other than cling to you or consistently attack the dogs water dish and making a mess then you can forget about coffee or washrooms. Its just not happening. Been there done that...OK STILL there and doing that. *glares at Rye*

Speaking of Rye, my 13 month babe painted for the first time today(other than me doing footprints a few months ago). He made 2 wonderful creative pictures. They were full of colour and...splatters? Either way I think we could frame his paintings and sell them for lots and he will be all famous and will have college monies. Alright he probably will not become famous and no one else will think his paintings are good but I'm his mother and I see loads of AWESOME when I look at his paintings.

OK OK y'all are probably wishing I would shut up already so you can check out kids worksheets and whatnot.

Tomorrow  I'll post  pictures of stuff.

Thursday 2 February 2012

Random sh!t day. WOOHOO!

Its not all youtube videos this week. Yay me!

This first picture is a screen shot from season 3 of True Blood. Yes I'm aware im behind lol Anyways While watching creepy guy poke Bill's forehead I had a sudden craving for pineapple.

And apparently the search engine felt the need to suggest I look for uses for Avon bubble bath...seriously search thingy?

Im sure you all have seen this video but if not here you go.  "Movies bring so much joy"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VhkDdayA4iA

And I wanted to share how much I love my husband and one of the messages I sent him while he was away for a month. He was having trouble sleeping so I though I would help him out because I'm a devoted, loving, responsible wife.

I know this is being posted on a thursday evening and not friday but I thought ya'll could use a good read with your morning coffee because I'm helpful like that. Your welcome.

Remember to help a local mama out and check out her business, Stephanies Creations that I posted about after saving you all from vampire-zombies.

Have an awesome friday!

Wednesday 1 February 2012

Oh the things we say! continued..

That's right there's lots of f***ed up in this house. We have the weirdest conversations.l I don't know why, it just happens so I might as well share since people find us entertaining.

Family chat one evening with Miss.S

Miss.S - There's an antidote in the air! Where can we find it?

Me - The doctor?

Nick - Shaman or witchdoctor...i dunno

Me - oo ee ooo ah ah ting tang walla walla bing bang!

She thinks we are informative and funny :D

Now and even more f***ed up conversation between Nick and I last night. It all started with a rash. On his shoulder neck area. I said it looks like a vampire was snackin on him. And now he's infected and will turn into a vampire/zombie hybrid. We were all like f***! How are we supposed to battle a vampire-zombie?

Problem # 1 - If its half zombie it can go out in sunlight

Problem # 2  - A stake through the heart will not be good enough.

Problem # 3  - Not allergic to garlic

Problem # 4  - They won't just find your blood tasty, they will find ALL of you tasty.
                       NOM NOM NOM!

Problem # 5  - Can probably teleport or turn into bats

Problem # 6  - May still wear a cape which looks sexy on vampires but a zombie wearing one is kinda wrong...it just not done.

Problem # 7 - Crosses won't burn them.

Problem # 8 - Blade is too busy not filing his income tax to save us

Problem # 9 - Vampires can seduce their victims...vampire-zombies will probably do the same.

So after thinking about how to kill a vampire-zombie we figured out the one common weakness between the two. You must destroy the head. Its the only way and yes I'm aware that its a bit messy and probably tricky with all its special abilities. I recommend if you come across any vampire-zombies that you do not kill it on nice carpets and preferably outdoors where you can hose down the area of the slaying. If we are being attacked we must find the easiest and fastest way to clean so we can continue to defend ourselves.

So now that I have protected everyone with my messed up thoughts I would like to share a home business that's just starting up. If you need specialized invites this is the place to go. She also offers other services.

Recipe Wednesday! Mexican Casserole

I got this recipe off of allrecipes.com. Its easy and yummy. Made it at nicks birthday last year and it was a huge hit.

1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 cups salsa

  • 1 (16 ounce) can chili beans, drained

  • 3 cups tortilla chips, crushed

  • 2 cups sour cream

  • 1 (2 ounce) can sliced black olives, drained

  • 1/2 cup chopped green onion

  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh tomato

  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

  • Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
    2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until no longer pink. Stir in salsa, reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed. Stir in beans, and heat through.
    3. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray. Spread crushed tortilla chips in dish, and then spoon beef mixture over chips. Spread sour cream over beef, and sprinkle olives, green onion, and tomato over the sour cream. Top with Cheddar cheese.
    4. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
